Does anyone here know of any good articles/links regarding weight suits/backpacks and compression of the spine. I’m thinking of buying an xvest(max 84lbs)for jumptraining/pullups,etc and am concerned about spinal compression.
Obviously, due to gravity there will always be some degree of compression-but will a passing a certain threshold of weight increase compression?
and if so, how much is needed to increase compression, and is it permanent(as in won’t reverse when in sleeping position)
I have found basically nothing on the net, although just a few articles mentioning heavy backpacks may lead to compression.
