I am considering purchasing a wieghted vest to aide in my pull ups, push ups, and runs. Anyone have any opinions on Weight vest training? thanks!
I have an X vest and love it! I do Push-ups with it, and occasionally Pull-ups as well.
I would not run with it as it puts a tremendous strain on your joints. However, I do load it up and take hikes with it. Great cardio!
A standard dip belt is cheaper and more versatile for pullups.
I’m weary about the idea of running with a vest. Running in general is a high-impact activity, and additional weight will exacerbate any lapses in form and equipment.
