Whelp i went ahead and enlisted as a recruit in the USMC today, a whoop! and i was wondering from people who possibly did basic at some point about how much weight/strength i am going to lose? it sounds like a newbie question but Any tips on how to minimize my losses in strength while im there?
The last thing you are going to be worrying about in boot is whether or not you are losing strength. However if you want to minimize the amount of strength you lose, you can always act like an ass in front of your DI and I am sure he will be happy to take you and a few of your friends to the quarterdeck for a good session of IT ( intensive training ). This will not gain you any friends though.
