Evening guys, I am currently repping 35kg dumbells in each arm on my flat chest press. Unfortunately the next set of weights up are the 40kg dumbells. DO any of you know of any tips/advice on how to make what seems a giant leap as I dont want my progression to wane. Cheers
Get 12 reps with the 35kg dumbbells before moving up.
I had to do this when moving from the 110s to the 120s… Don’t ask me why but my gym doesn’t have 115s haha go figure
There is a product called “Plate Mates”. Small increment magnetic plats that stick to the side of dumbells or barbell plates. That’s probably the best option.

Well its a rubber casing around the metal so if the magnets are strong enough shouldn’t be a problem
