Here’s a quick look at my training…
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Weights
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Rugby specific training
Saturday, Sunday: Low intensity cardio (mountain biking, touch rugby, jog, etc…)
Here’s what the weight are looking like:
CURRENT WEEK (6/25-7/2)
Dynamic Warm up:
2 sets ea.
4 sets of 6 reps, 85 lbs
Perform one lift after the next without setting the bar down
Slow Axe Chops 2x6 reps
Planks 2x30 seconds
** Any suggestions as far as core training goes? I’ve dabbled here and there, but never really stuck with a serious routine…
I was a bit late getting to the gym, but once I was there I was dialed in and ready to work. I’ve done a variation of the widow makers before (perform one movement for 30 seconds, rest while partner lifts, next movement for 30 seconds, etc…), and these def. got my heart pumping.
Cardio while lifting??
