We Don't Even Need To Vote Now....

… the winner’s already been decided for us.

Uh oh – the children are divided. I bet it’s Bush’s fault… =-)

“Kid power! Democrat John Kerry is the winner, and the rest of the country should pay attention because the vote on Nickelodeon’s Web site has correctly chosen the president of the United States in the past four elections.”

How is it that Nickelodeon had kids voting on their website in 1988?

Ah crap, guess I actually do need to vote now. Maybe I’ll give some of those flip-floppin’ kids a piece of my mind when I go to the elementary school to cast it.

That’s what I was wondering, in 1988 I didn’t even know the internet was around, however I did eat my boogers so who knows.

Bush kicked the hell out of Kerry in my daughter’s 2nd grade class.

19 votes Bush
2 votes Kerry

The Kerry voters were promptly given wedgies of the atomic variety.

Can’t trust the online voting right now.

There are groups out there who get to these poll, and voting websites, and vote to push up their candidate’s numbers. (There was a small news story on the radio about this recently.)

Their purpose is to sway these poll numbers and make it look like the popular opinion is for their candidate.
