Wave Loading

when wave loading 4,3,2 then 4,3,2 again,would it hurt to do 4rep chest, 2 minutes later 4rep back, then 2 minutes later back to chest with 3 reps and so forth, since this is a way to trick the nervous system i didn’t know if performing an exercise inbetween would hurt. i haven’t found any articles that said it was ok to do this when performing wave loads. thanks for any help you can give
