Wave loading for strength

Has anyone had any success with wave loading methods for strength gains? I have always been interested in the 1-6 principle and similar methods of training.

Does anyone have experience with wave loading? What kind of results did you get?

I’ve used the 1-6 method in the past to put about 60lbs my front squat but I prefer conjugate periodization over such methods for strength gains, however one could use such methods with a conjugation.

60lbs is an excellent gain!! I have to give wave loading a try. I have tried a form of cojugate periodization, Westside style training in the past, but I didn’t make good gains.

Obviously Westside works, but I just haven’t figured out how to make it work for me, so I use other training methods to keep my gains coming.

Luckily for me and anyone else that hasn’t had success with Westside there are other means of getting strong.

I think I will eventually evolve into doing my own form of conjugate periodization developed from trial and error.
