Water Slides and PAIN

WTH is wrong with me.

As I stated in another thread I’m at a resort this week and it has a water park.

There are 2 slides that are 8 stories high and pretty much a straight drop.

Upon sliding into the landing pit where water slows you down, my ass is beat to hell from the pressure of the water. Feels like I had a deep tissue massage that was done way too hard and the pain is pretty high.

I got it in my rhomboids the past few times.

anyone else experience this? I know I can be a pussy at times, but this shit hurts

If you’re going pretty fast on those slides, sometimes the end can be brutal.

There was a water park by me where they actually had to do stuff to the slides to slow them down. People were getting hurt when they were getting shot into the pool at the bottom.

It was a similar slide to the one you described. 8 stories tall. I think they claimed you were going 40-50 mph before they slowed them down.

I heard one guy say he had pain there too, just glad it wasn’t only me.

and yeah, you’re fucking moving when you’re going down it.

Sometimes, I’ve come out of those slides stinging pretty bad. Fun as hell though. It certainly doesn’t stop me or anyone else from doing it again and again.

Yeah, I was trying that, not sure it helped, but I’ll try it more.

Nothing is truly fun unless it hurts a little bit.

The worst one I went in had sharp ridges on each of the tubing sections. They would scratch your skin and also give you a bruise.
