Water Gain Even With Arimidex?

Last cycle I gained 10 lbs of water (+ 15 of muscle), despite taking .5 mg Arimidex EOD. Isn’t Arimidex supposed to prevent most water gain? Does it seem likely that my Arimidex was fake? (it looks a bit sketchy…i should have bought it from from a research supply company)

Thanks.

What was your diet like?

It may help to a degree, but sure wont prevent.

lillguy is absolutely correct.

Adex will minimize it, but not prevent it by any means.

40/40/20 protein/carbs/fats
~6 meals per day
4500 kcals/day

I don’t mind carrying 10 extra lbs of water…I just didn’t think that was supposed to happen with Arimidex. Thus, I was surprised to loss 10 lbs withing a few weeks of beginnning PCT.

I’d say that’s plenty of carbs and calories to get yourself turned into “Aqualardman”.

Keep your carbs lower for sure at the very least next time and that will help a lot.
