Very strong, but why are you posting this?

That this is the bodybuilding forum…

I look at his gut and think why the hell would anyone want to look like that?

I have nothing but the utmost respect for powerlifters such as the ones presented in this thread, whose feats are truly incredible. However, you have to admit, some of them look indistinguishable from a Biggest Loser contestant. (i’d never say that to their face for fear of being squished like a grape)

830 pounds for 2 reps with good depth.

respect, crazy strong.

LOL @ some people looking at his gut rather than the shitload amount of weight on his back. thats why you should have posted it in the PL forum.

I think the camera needs to lay off the high-dose ephedrine and/or amphetamines…

Yeah who would ever want to look like Vytautas Lalas…

I’d just kill myself if I looked like that.

Leave it to the fucking internet weirdo’s to turn 2 awesome feats of strength into a fucking beauty padgent.

“Big Rob’s squat was good but, there is no way I would have sex with him. I only like watching guys I want to have sex with lifting weights.”

That bar was bouncing around like a fat kid in a jumping castle.

Anyone who’s not a woman. Are you a woman?

No kidding, I also like watching videos online to beat off but generally they’re a different kind

You know…when you squat you’re supposed to take a deep breath into your belly. This gives the appearance of a huge gut even if you don’t have one. But who cares about his bodyfat%? He’s squatting, not flexing for all of you. Obsiously Wilkerson actually has a big gut, but he also has 1,000 lbs on his back.

Then you should meet some of them. It’s like meeting a gorilla. They are distinguishable.

The goal isn’t to look good naked but to keep adding pounds to your total until you’re no longer discernible as a human being. I understand this was posted in the BB forum, but seriously how jaded do you have to be to downplay such awesome feats of strength? Then again I know the same has happened in the PL forum as well.

I never said I didn’t think his feat of strength it a great one, you guys are putting words in my mouth. Most will never accomplish that in their life even if they tried but did I really need to post that because everyone here already knows that fact? You asked me what I thought… BTW, I bet that guy would look awful in posing trunks. He may be big but his physique is not impressive at all to me

What I see when I look at powerlifters like this is large jug butts and massive guts… Have you guys ever actually been to a powerlifting meet? I actually competed in one and it turned me off completely. Every guy there talked about all these injuries they constantly suffer from. strained this… torn ligament that… fucked up my knee/back… Everyone was so bandaged up you could smell the liniment anywhere in the building. It may be impressive to lift all that weight but the human body wasn’t made to lift these tremendous poundages and pretty much anyone that continues this style for long enough time ends up having all sorts of scar tissue, joint and ligament damage. Its not if, its when… All i could think once I left is I don’t want to be like that. That’s what turned me off of powerlifting and onto natural bodybuilding (the IFBB olympia stuff isn’t much better than the gorillas seen here).

Its that attitude of get strong or fuck yourself up trying that draws a lot of people to powerlifting. Bang or bust.
