Sure, Rush said he wished Obama’s policies would fail. So what? He also tried to disrupt the DNC with his Operation Chaos and Obama got elected anyway. His importance is vastly overrated. Joking about addiction and wishing people dead is seldom funny, and Sikes is a poor comedian to begin with. She comes off, to me, as mean and petty.
Personally, I quite like having Rush as the “voice” of the Republicans. He says out loud what most of them think only to themselves and shows everyone how nut and disconnected from reality these people are. Alienate liberals, moderates and true conservatives and whoever’s left to vote for you only ensures a minority position forever.
That way, reasonable adults can run the country and not go bonkers every time someone proposes a program to help fellow citizens, and you can avoid starting another losing war every few years.

I think Rush appeals to certain types of people, but I think he repulses most of us. Most Republicans I know do not have an original thought in their head. Most of what is on their mind is something Rush has digested for the masses.

The spending should NOT be asronomical. You can’t spend what you don’t have without getting into MAJOR trouble. Obama is BREAKING this country and eroding the constitution faster than anyone could have ever believed. I want him to FAIL at that.
The Reinvestment act should have put fourth TAX CUTS. 18 bucks a month for the average joe isnt going to do it.
