waiter's bow

whenever i perform the waiter’s bow, i get bruises on my forearms due to the plates. does anyone have advice?

ps: i dont know if this is the right category, im a newbie to the t-forums

If you just can’t live with those bruises put a towel between the plate and your forearms. Make sure a towel doesn’t affect your grip on the plate. we don’t want you dropping one on your toe

you get bruises? You should basically just be hugging the weight tight to your body - and shouldnt involve any pounding. Please let me know.
