Could anyone tell me how much of an increase in my waistline I should expect while trying to bulk up? I went from 215lbs to 167 over the course of about 1 year and want to start adding some lean muscle (who doesn’t) but when I gave it my first attempt I put on about 1 inch for every 7 lbs of weight, which is about the same ratio as what I lost from the dieting. I’ve read many posts and I know that I jumped straight from cutting to bulking too quickly the first time and I intend to go much slower on the uptake in calories this time.
But in real world terms what should I expect in terms of size gains in the waistline?
