Ok, how many of you have seen the movie “Desperado”? I really like the wailing electric guitar score, but I haven’t really been able to find artists that sound like that. I have the soundtrack for the movie, but it doesn’t capture the sound that I want. I know this is super vague, but can anyone recommend any artists who play cool, latin-sounding electric guitar? You can hear the sound I’m looking for in this clip from about 30 seconds in to the 2:45 mark. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the links. I think the Chingon one is closest to what I’m looking for. Tito and Tarantula is a dope band too. Have you heard Los Lobos? I think it may have some of the same members.
Cool. Well Chingon and Tito and Tarantula are known as Tex-mex bands as far as I know, so if you want more of that sound try doing a search for that. Yeah I’ve heard Lost Lobos, that’d be interesting if they shared some of the same members.
