According to Ian King you are supposed to do no more than 12-20 sets per workout, and train each muscle group only once per week. I’ve read some of his training articles on T-mag and you never have to do any more than 4-6 sets per bodypart. Have any of you guys gained strength and size using such a low volume. Or do you think that a higher volume would be better.
Francois, Can you gain size and strength following IK as per his 12 week programs on T-mag? You better believe it!! Give it a go and you won’t be disappointed (just sore a few times, stronger and bigger!)
Just finished the Limping program today. I added 90 lbs to my squats & 150 lbs to my deadlift in 3 months. Not too shabby, at least in my book.
The programs have worked well for me plus if you follow the 12 week programs as posted it mixes things up with alot of differant exercises and makes the whole thing more fun–less monotonous.
