@hardartery Thanks man. It was uphill grade too. It was brutally hard. Nothing feels like it. You’re using every ounce of your being and honestly it feels like it isn’t moving at all. I remember screaming and grunting for 60 seconds only to ask “did I move it?”.

The farmers were probably the craziest though. The weight was supposed to be 240/hand and Jessica Fithen loads 265lbs on each handle in plates alone. She’s like “yeah good luck everybody, this is what Tanner had written down”. Came out to 290lbs on the given handles. So many ppl bombed on this event it was ridiculous. Thank god I’m decent at farmers.

That is good and heavy man. Indiana and FW. I lost a couple of callouses at one of Coy’s contests on that event. they were steel wooling the grips between competitors and letting them sit in direct sun on July 4th. Literally cooked the callouses to the grips and the bond to the metal was stronger than the hand. For a bunch of us. It’s nuts the stuff that happens on contest day. Excellent job man.

9/15/20 - Bw 232, back in the gym, feels good. Makin the decision to opt out of nats this year. I’m a month out and I see no point in competing in a show not at my best nor with the means to really do so given my personal life atm. I am likely going straight shot to beast of bluegrass in dec.

9/21/20 - bw 227 I know what you’re thinking. I am supposed to be resting. I am, I swear. Strict log is pretty forgiving on my body. All of my concerted deload stuff will be oriented around lower body. Had no plans on even doing this but I felt PR strong, had to bring it out of me.
