So I guessed my weight last session and figured it’d have gone up but nope. To my dismay I’m all the way down to 218 with a full piss in me and breakfast. I need to pick up the slack, definitely stressed lately and not eating as much as i need to be. I feel a bit weak physically too. Need to be better.

Honestly this was a totally fine day back doing deadlifts. Aside from my stupid fucking hand (or brain because I should know my callouses aren’t prepped for reps on hook grip), it went well.

Are you currently trying to lose/gain weight at all or just focused purely on strength?

Just dealing with some personal issues, thus training has became so much of an effort. I wasn’t (still am not) eating as much, and my mental well-being siphoned all of my strength away.

Still feeding the fire as much kindling as possible. No excuse to not train, but I have to be mindful about how I do this.

Okay this workout was actually great. Still weak, but I had a tri pump which was kind of alien feeling. Gonna train those muscles more.

I hear you; hey, sometimes lifting takes a back seat to life gasp

I really enjoy the consistent simplicity of your workouts. Efficient and no useless crap that I tend to add to mine for a few weeks before realizing I need to cut it.

585x1 hook grip, ridiculously fast and easy. God it feels good to deadlift something heavy again.

I added up all the weights I have, and I have enough plates for exactly 880lbs on the bar, should that even fit on the sleeves. Looks like I have more than enough weights to grow into for a life time.
