Vince Gironda's Training Principles

I know that a few years ago you trained for a period using many of Gironda’s principles, rep schemes, short rest periods etc.

In todays world, in your opinion, do his training principles (6x6, 8x8, density achieved by reducing rest time to as low as 15 seconds etc) have relevance?

Are there any circumstances in which you would either perform yourself or recommend Gironda’s core training principles to others?

What were your personal observations when you used his principles?
