Thanks for your time on this forum. Here’s my Q: If you had to pick only one exercise for the lower body and one exercise for the upper body, what would they be? The goal here is to develop a general base of “functional strength” as efficiently as possible (I define functional as having the greatest carryover to recreational sports; I do NOT define functional training as doing one-legged squats on a Swiss ball while juggling dumbbells).
