Vertical Jump Bible Questions

I dont know if any of you are famliar with this, but i have some questions. Im going to do the beginner program and I see there is a plyo’s program and a bodyweight strength program.

So my question is do i do these both on the same days or do i do them on consecutive days? Also, if i wanan work upperbody in there, should i just do it in my off days? Thanks guys.
