Congrats on rediscovering your VersaClimber! It is a time tested piece of true total body cardio equipment; There is nothing dodgy about this product, I think they’ve been making it now for 26 years-can’t say that for the ab3000 Turbo…
I use the versaclimber for interval sprint training–Tabata or Taku sprints–none of this chicken shit elliptical/treadmill stuff.

Other training ideas on a VersaClimber, grab side hand rails, increase resitance and power through just the stepping action. Or stand on the base plate and use just arm action only. For rock climbers, swing to the back side and climb in the over hang position. And another, Mile High club climb 5,280 ft in 30 minutes. The versaclimber is a calorie guzzling beast–it doesn’t cut corners for you, you cant cheat on the thing. You love to hate it.
