Velocity Diet Question

Hey guys I’m new to these forums, although I’ve been reading them for quiet some time. I came accross the velocity diet and I’m keen to give it a shot, I have 1 question tho. I think I must have missed something really obvious, I’ve re-read the whole Velocity Diet part 1 and 2 and still can’t figure it out :frowning:

Lets say I’m aiming for 1600 calories and 180g protein. If I consume 5x Metabolic Drive! shakes with 2 tbsps of milled flax seeds, that equals to;

100(protein) +60(seeds)- calories
20g(protein) +3g(seeds) - protein
4g(protein) +4g(seeds) - carbs
^for one shake

over the whole day 5 shakes =

800 calories
115g protein
40g carbs

Could someone please help me as I don’t see how to get ‘On non-training days… around 1510 calories, 208 grams of protein and 42 grams of carbs.’ (The Velocity Diet)

I really must have missed something obvious I must be missing it every time as I don’t see any other posts asking this question.

Oh and another quick question regarding the salmon oil capsules, on non training days you are meant to have 21 of them, is that in 1000mg/cap ?

How about doubling the size of your shakes?

Yeah dude typical shakes are at least two scoops each, especially on the V-Diet.

They make the shaker cups hold 20oz of water for a reason…

Adjust the amount of scoops of protein and Tbsps of flax. May mean you need two or three of eash in the shakes looks closer to two for you.

Well there you go, I must have been extremely tired last night and couldn’t think of that, cheers. Wish me luck as soon as I round up all the supplements its velocity time! I’ll post some before/after pics when I’m done. I’m mainly trying to uncover my 6 pack for summer and look a bit more ‘toned’.

Holy christ don’t say ‘toned’. Ever.

You need to count the calories in the fish oil caps as well, flame out has 52 calories in 4 caps.

I missed this the first time around on the V-diet so its possible others do as well.

On non-training days: 5 2-scoop shakes(or more depending on your size), flax seed, 21 fish oil caps or 4 Flameout

On Training days : 5 2 scoop-shakes(or more depending on your size), 1 Surge post workout, flax seed and no fish oil caps(But do use the Flameout if thats what you have)

You drink 5 Metabolic Drive shakes every day, no matter what. On training days you actually drink a 6th shake (Surge) after training.

Thanks for the tips, I think I have it all worked out now. Can’t believe how much more expensive Metabolic Drive is from the Biotest Australia site compared to the American one.

What’s wrong with saying I’d like to look a bit more toned than what I currently look like ?

We call it lean. Being “toned” is for housewives and soccer moms, and guys who read Men’s Health.
