I’ve did the Velocity diet for 2 weeks, but what I’ve found is that whey protein digests too fast for me. I end up with diarrhea all the time.
I did better when I had just plain beef. It stayed with me and I lost the weight.
I don’t know if any of you have problems with whey protein. I’ve found that if I don’t consume more than 40g per day I’m OK. Anything more gives me those nasty side effects.
Chicken breasts don’t do it for me either. I need a well rounded approach to protein intake.
Specifically, I need protein with higher purine levels like beef, bison, and venison. Higher purine foods take more time for your body to digest.
Lean Beef and Venison are primary
Eggs (with some yolks removed)
Finally Whey only after workouts
Anyhow, let me know if others have the same issues with whey. We could start our own M-Diet (Meat Diet)
