Take ko’s advice on easing into meat consumption but you really should turn to ‘the dark side.’ I am a recovering veggie. It has been about 6 months and trust me it makes all the difference. I was in a bit of a training rut and knew that it was time for a true diet change. I started eating meat and saw a change in my body and a new intensity in my training with in a month. For me i lost wieght and gained muscle. No longer did i have a little pouch under my belly button and those nasty love handles went away. My chest and shoulders blew up and i over all felt alot better(which is why i think my training got better.) I think that someone can train well as a veggie but when it is time to get serious it is time to eat meat. Good luck with your decision.
