Please share any of your vegetarian recipes here. I’m not a vegetarian, but I try to aim for 80-90% vegetarian. I tend to eat meat on the weekends at BBQs or when I go out. Otherwise, I try to stay on a vegetarian diet.
This is what I eat after a workout. I enjoy eating them and they have a decent amount of protein in them and are on par with your usually pancakes in terms of taste/texture, etc.
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 dry pressed cottage cheese
1/2 cup with one egg and rest filled w/ egg whites
1 Tbsp Protein Powder
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla
I advise getting dry pressed cottage cheese rather than the stuff you buy in a tub. It’s got more protein in it per cup. The half a cup has 24 grams. Frankly, I like it more too and it’s not loaded with salt.
Just throw it all in a blender and you mix. I use a Vitamix so it does a good job of incorporating everything. I usually put blueberries in too after I blend them.
