I’ve noticed recently different programs will include holds such front plate holds, overhead holds and crucifix holds for assistance; is the primary purpose of these holds shoulder stabilization/strength? Will these stimulate hypertrophy to any degree? Just curious as to the purpose. Thank you
Holds build strength very specifically in whatever position you hold in, they don’t tend to have great cross over benefits…still fun though…I used to do crucifix at the end of my push work out…painful but fun!
