The greatest, RIP

The former world heavyweight boxing champion, one of the world’s best-known sportsmen, died at a hospital in the US city of Phoenix, Arizona, after being admitted on Thursday.

One of the greatest boxers who ever lived. I had the opportunity to meet him years ago and it was a real thrill.

RIP Champ.

This guy had a fascinating carrier.

edit: the damn software broke my posts! (cntrl+return works differently than in other applications)
Long post short:
I cant believe Kimbo is more commented on than “the Greatest”.
Ali reinvented himself, came back, fought a murderer’s row of now legendary opponents and suffered Pugilistica Dementia publically, so that we all can talk about it.

Rest in Awesomeness.

I like watching Tyson more, but you can’t deny the deep awesomeness of Ali’s life story. He always reminded me of this quote: Chemistry is, well technically, chemistry is the study of matter. But I prefer to see it as the study of change.

Just how he changed, how ironic his career was at points: his life was imitating art.
