I’ve been advised by someone looking at my labs that I’m using the “wrong” estradiol test. (My latest labs are here). Both my doctor and LEF’s Male Hormone Panel use the same E2 test, not the sensitive LC-MS one. Should I be paying for the LC-MS test?
The E2 labs from Labcorp work well. Some lab companies need that distinction and such conversations need to be lab company specific. [Quest for one.] Using a test aimed at non-menopausal female can often be out of range, something like <17pg/ml which tells you little.
