Using Natural Body Metrics

Does anybody know where I can find some literature, &c. on using the outward sensations such as muscle soreness for determining temporal qualities of the body, ie. using the time between a lift and soreness onset to help determine maximal inroad developement, or duration of soreness to determine healing capacity?

I’m interested in putting together basic equations to help me guide workout frequency, intensity, &c. and also interested in just understanding how my body recovers.

This looks pretty interesting i hope someone knows something about it

This does sound fascinating. But I wonder if you’re trying to think too hard about it.

While there are probably averages to the physical quantities you are seeking, there are so many variables involved that individualistic responses would be all over the measured spectrum.

And to make matters more sensitive, is there a scale to measure soreness?
