Using Blast Straps For Rings?

I’ve been pretty interested in ring training lately but i find blast straps a lot cheaper than the rings. I was wondering if i can replace the rings with blast straps and yield the same thing or is it not possible? thanks

They will work for some movements, but won’t for others such as muscle ups.

I made my own blast straps for about $20- and one trip to the hardware store. Changing to rings is simply a matter of untying the PVC handles and putting on rings.

I use my chains [the ones for accomodating resistance] as rings and blast straps. I take carbiners and clip them on to make the chains one piece
