Using Androgel 1.62%. Anyone Use Cream?

Hello Everyone,

About six months ago I did a protocol with InShape MD which was 200 mg every week of cypionate. My serum levels got above 1200 at the end of the 3 month cycle. I have made an appointment with an endocronologist and had new tests done recently. It has been about 6 months since I finished trt with InShape MD. My Test came back at 300 ng and Lutenizing Hormone was 1.2 which is low apparently. Anyway, I have been prescribed the 1.62 percent androgel. I know it doesn’t absorb as well as IM injections but just wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with the cream.
Thanks

So they prescribed you test in a dose high enough to elicit androgen concentrations at the very high end range of normality… for 3 months… then took you off?

TRT isn’t what you need, you need time, and perhaps a pct. however if you’re like 45+ perhaps trt isn’t the worst idea, still… this is madness lol (the inshapemd protocol, not you’re situation)

I finished their protocol with PCT consisting of 2 weeks of hcg injections 2x per week. The amount of money it costs for three months of the medication is why I opted to just go to an endocrinologist. But yes, my t levels were off the charts after 6 weeks at 200 mg cypionate weekly. However, I initially tested with a level of 120. It was a little surprising that when I was tested at the specialists the baseline for my test levels was up to 300 ng.

LOL. That’s not PCT. It is pretty funny though. They saw you coming man.So, seriously, it takes some nerve to put “MD” in the name and then do something like that. Your initial level was 120. What range? That is a meaningless number without the lab range. If you have low test, and we won’t know without lab ranges, then you need to go on TRT. If you want to try a PCT, search it on this forum and see what it actually is. HCG cannot actually provide a useful function in a PCT, it’s counterproductive. You need Nolvadex/Tamoxifen or Clomiphene Citrate/Clomid, for at least 5 weeks. And stay away from the rip off joints like the one you went to. Testosterone is dirt cheap.

I am on Androgel 1.62 3 pumps daily with 25 mg of Clomid daily. This is being prescribed by an Endocrinologist. Hopefully this is a reasonable long term trt protocol. Any thoughts?

It’s not. As others suggested google and tnation search PCT. Most Endos I’ve met know little or are way behind the times when it comes to HRT and related issues. If you want HRT clomid has no place and injections are better than creams/gels. If you want PCT you would use clomid or nolva without any exogenous test.
