US/NATO Losing in Afghanistan?

“Seven years after 9/11, al Qaida and its allies are gaining ground across the region where the plot was hatched, staging their most lethal attacks yet against NATO forces and posing a growing threat to the U.S.-backed governments in Afghanistan and nuclear-armed Pakistan…”

The hopeful state of Iraq masks the sacrificed Afghanistan?

This is going to be a never-ending problem for the US. Every time they focus their attention in one place, the roaches will pop up somewhere else.

They don’t have to kill all the Americans in any given country to win, they only have to keep hiding til we turn our backs, then attacking again. Eventually America will run out of the money or the will needed to fight.

Our options are:

  1. to keep doing this same thing for 50 years, or
  2. to increase the aggressiveness of our attacks (which will naturally increase the civilian casualties), or
  3. to withdraw, and do everything we can to keep the nuts out of our own country. And basically wish Iraq and Afganistan “Good Luck.”
