Many use propionate anyway.
There are at least some preparations that don’t have this effect, at least for some persons. 50 mg/mL test propionate I prepared myself with no benzyl alcohol (or I might have used 2%, but I doubt it) was painless in my case. I also find the 100 mg/mL product from the folk who are stealthy – not supposed to name sources here – to be painless in my own case. Don’t know what others find with it.
