Yea it is crazy, but I totally don’t blame him at all for stepping down. It will be interesting to see who they hire. I personally think they should get Chris Petterson from Boise State. He is a great coach that reminds me a lot of Urban, plus he is young which if he is good can stay for a long time. Stoops cant win the big game so I don’t know how well he would do losing BCS games at Florida.
I’m not sure it’s even gonna last. I just can’t see him out of the game for good at this stage. I think he’ll be back during spring or, if not, he’ll wait out the '10 season and get on at another school, maybe like Clemson or a big ACC school (?).
