Upper Trap Pain After Performing Lateral Raises

Hi People! So basically, I have just started on my quest to workout. On a normal shoulder day (today) I warmed up as usual (20 jumping jacks, 10 pushups, 30 sec hand stand hold, 10 squats, 20 calf raises, 20 sec plank hold) then jumped into the routine.

I began with Lateral raises. The first set went fine. Then when I almost finished my second set, I felt this sharp pain in my right upper trap / neck area. It still hurts when I stand or tilt my head to the left. So I stopped working to rest obviously but wondered what went wrong.

Does anyone know what i did wrong? I know this is probably an amateur mistake but I watched vids and stuff before doing + its my 5th time doing them in a workout.

I know its important to do lateral raises with slightly bent knees and raise in a controlled motion horizontally until parallel to the floor. Could I have went too high? (Using 12.5 lb dumbbells btw) I know its very light but its challenging for me.

I would deeply appreciate any help.

Thank youu!!
