Recently started doing the DL and noticed afterwards that i feel like i may have strained my neck/upper traps. I think i was using a bit too much weight for my first time to maintain proper form. instead of being able to retract the shoulder blades the weight kind of pulled them done stretching the upper back and neck to some degree. It has been a few days since i pulled and it still feels out of sorts (although not painful, just tightness).
Would this indicate a weakness in my upper trap strength that contributed to the neck/upper back strain or could it be something else regarding the mechanics of the lift. Thanks
