Upper Body Injured, Train Lower Body?

In one of my football games recently I injured myself and i will not be able to work my upper body for three months. Right now im on WS4SB and im wondering if i should add any volume for my lower body. Would it be too much to lift legs 3x a week? If not then what would you suggest in addition to the max effort and dynamic effort day im already doing?

you could train legs three times per week. It all depends on how much volume you use and how well you recover.

In WS4SB 3 DeFranco says to drop the second lower body day when you add speed/conditioning work. I was thinking about just leaving the second lower day and doing the speed work as well. What do you think about this?
