Unpopular Opinion: Baby Boomer vs Millennials. Both Sides Suck

She was literally just on NPR - they are running a segment on this topic today.

One interesting commentary by one of the contributors was an observation that parents who are not allowing their kids to use technology (more specifically smartphones and social media such as snapchat), may perhaps be raising future children vs future young adults. They are instead setting their kids up to be people who don’t have the ability to self-regulate because they have never been taught how to regulate.

I’m sure we’ve all known kids with strict upbringings who ended up not being able to deal with the pressures of life and fell into problems with drugs, porn, etc… I’m not saying this is always the case, and it can happened with less strict up brining, but when it does happen, it is almost a direct correlation it seems.
