Unorthodox Football Lifts

I have a feeling the title wasnt very clear but was just wondering if any of you guys have any football lifts or training drills that are outside the box but you are pretty high on?
I remember being a highschool running back I added slide curls on my beach muscle friday time and noticed a huge carryover in ball security. Purely anecdotal and a small sample size of 1 but I was just wondering if any of you had little things like that.

hang clean, med ball push ups ( elbows tucked in, both hands on ball ) . high pulls, power shrugs, box jumps, 40 yd dashes with a sled, agility latter with weighted vest
