University Selling Weights, Cleveland Area

For those in the Cleveland/Akron area I just purchased olympic weights for 15 cents a pound and olympic bars for $50 each from a local university. Just got (6) 45s, (4) 25s, and olympic bar for $105.50, can’t beat that.

Contact information is sdobran@jcu.edu. She only has 45s (probably about 30 plates) left and 3 olympic bars. All used but in good condition, they just updated their weightroom.

For what its worth…

thanks for the heads up,

scored 8 plates and an olympic bar for $100

Now I can do Tabata front squats and barbell complexes at home

(well maybe I should buy a couple quarters for the tabata stuff).

No problem, glad you were able to get in on the deal.

Earlier this year I also picked up from them DB pairs of 80s, 90s, 100s, and 110s plus a heavy duty Cybex 10 pair rack for $150. I am still kicking myself for missing out on the lighter DBs. Can’t win them all.
