Uneven Barbell Row


Today I was warming up to do some bent rows and I noticed a huge imbalance in my arm movements when rowing. I tried correcting this using the mirror it was almost impossible. I only now noticed since I’ve changed gyms I’ve never rowed in front of the mirror before or watch myself.

I booked an appointment with a physiotherapist for Monday to try figure out the problem and correct it before I develop more of an imbalance. I didn’t finish my workout. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some issues ever?


Perhaps you have just developed bad motor patterns for that movement. Have you lowered the weight, done it in front of the mirror and conscientiously corrected the movement pattern?
