I was benching a two days ago and was ramping up for a work set. I started feeling pain in my palm, like the muscle for the pinky, and ulnar side of the wrist. I continued to 315 and only managed one rep due to the pain. I racked it and tried to unrack it again, but the pain was too much. My wrists are not bent while benching. I keep the bar as low in my palm as possible. I experience zero pain if I grip the bar high and let my wrist bend. I can move my wrist any direction pain free. It’s only when my palm/wrist is directly compressed does it hurt. Do you guys have any idea what the issue is?
