I was diagnosed with torn cartiledge in my wrist and the wrist specialist has indicated that my problem is actually related to the length of my ulna bone (2mm longer than it should be and therefore the space between the ulna head and the carpel bones is less than it should be hence the extra pressure put on the cartiledge). He recomended a procedure where they actually remove about 2mm from the length of the ulna (cut a 3mm thick section from the ulna bone). I would like to hear from anybody who has had this procedure done or knows somebody who has had this procedure done. I am interested in outcomes from the procedure. I would like to hear from people who have actually had it done in addition to what the specialist says.
