UFC 183 Medical Suspensions: Tate, Woodley

UFC 183 Medical Suspensions: Tate, Woodley Potentially Out For Six Months
Posted on February 3, 2015, by Mike Henken

UFC 183 went down this past weekend (January 31, 2015), presented live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a great card featuring a blockbuster main event, but it now seems as if some of the nightâ??s combatants may be spending some serious time on the shelf nursing injuries.

Long time womenâ??s bantamweight contender Miesha â??Cupcakeâ?? Tate headlined the Fox Sports 1 prelims in a bout against former Olympian Sara McMann, and although Tate got the victory, it was not easy. It was a back and forth war, which saw â??Cupcakeâ?? get rocked with a huge right hand in the first round that actually broke her orbital bone. She also seemed to hurt her left elbow during the fight. The former Strikeforce champion ended up coming back in rounds two and three, but she will now need clearance from a doctor or she will have to face a six-month medical suspension.

Another fighter facing a lengthy layoff is top welterweight contender Tyron â??The Chosen Oneâ?? Woodley, who scored a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum in the co-main event of the evening. After the event, Woodley posted a picture on his Twitter showing off a broken right foot he sustained in the very first round:

“other medical suspensions” include Diaz, for, cue very mellow sigh, weed.

And Silva, for teh steroid.

Why is Brazil that bad in tapering the sauce off?
Can’t they consult some US experts?
Will he claim it was because he broke his tibia?
How do the Brazilians view the whole steroid controversy?

Questions…

The only thing that is clear is that Diaz is maybe not that interested in a proper athletic career.

I think it is clear that drugs are bad, and can only lead to headlining a pay per view.

I am going to start freebasing Flinstone vitamins.
