Trying to Join the Swedish Army

Hey people, I’m soon to be 19 years old, and here I will log my attempt to become more fit for service in the Swedish Armed Forces.

I’m 6´5 and 245lbs or 110 kgs heavy. Before I started lifting, I was an avid runner and I hiked alot. I have since then gained about 40 pounds, and therefore now my calisthenics, running and rucking abilities are quite poor compared to back then. So here we go, wish me luck :slight_smile:

Today I ran for the first time in about a year, Obviously it was a terrible run, my legs felt like jelly and my body was screaming at me. But anyhow, I ran 3 miles and it took me a shameful 36 minutes and 43 seconds. To put things into perspective, about one year ago I ran the same distance in about 22 minutes, so obviously a massive diffrence. Tonight im going to do some upperbody lifting. :slight_smile:
