Trying to Get to 155 from 140

So I am trying to get my weight up just because I’m tired of looking scrawny. On July 3rd I weighed 128. I haven’t stepped foot in a gym for about 3 years, but played hockey 2 times a week. I just recently started going back to the the gym. Weighed myself a week ago and I’m at 140 (its all beer). Trying to loose the gut and turn it into muscle.
