I've been reading t-nation for a long time and about time I started a workout log.
Right now I'm doing trap bar deadlifts instead of using a barbell. The reason for this is I am moving to a new city in August and the gyms that I will be going to that only have a trap bar with high handles. I only ever use the low handles. I've always enjoyed the trap bar deadlift and want to get at least 272kg before I go. I think could do it now, or at least come close.
I'm not bench pressing at the moment and won't be until I move and train at a different gym. My current gym is good but the benches are poor. The hooks are narrow so you have to place your hands outside it and it's hard to get the hooks the right height. It's either too high and I can't unrack the bar without losing tightness, or too low and I risk the bar being too high and going over the hooks. I will do more overhead work with dumbell bench for now. My overhead is awful, so would be nice to improve that.
I'm 33, 5'11 and weigh 88kg. I'm a bit lighter than I thought. I'll be looking to get my weight over 90kg again.
