Truths You've Learned About Steroids

My own experience is still too limited for me to be able to honestly post any “truths” I have learned up to this point, but I thought it would be interesting to hear what some of the guys with a fairly large number of cycles under their belts feel that they have learned. I’m not looking for scientific facts, nor am I looking for brotelligence…

I’m interested in hearing what you guys know to be true through your own experience. I’m especially interesting in hearing “truths” that buck commonly held conceptions. How about it, gentlemen?

Well one truth I have learned is you can gain muscle with even the mildest of AAS. I swear I have even built some lean mass on cytomel alone. What it all comes down to is diet.

Oral only cycles, if and when constructed intelligently and appropriately, can and will produce strength and size gains of which a good portion can be kept.

Along the lines of what Mbaina said, it all depends on your diet and training to what degree you keep said gains, aside from cycle length and pct used or not used. I’d almost say the diet and training is more important, especially, or at least, on a short end cycle, 4 weeks or less.

  While a lot of our "vets" here realize this, it's still a widely held belief that you can't with oral only cycles.

             Just my 2 cents, as I have done quite a few oral only, but only two injectable cycles.

EAT and EAT and EAT some more.

Usually more is better.

Deca Dick is not a myth.

17AA orals in particular dbol will not kill your liver, at all, in any way shape or form.

Test and Deca are good for size but if you are a powerlifter and are after strength they are only so-so for your 1RM’s. If you want strength worship at the altar of Tren.

Bust your ass in the gym; you can like during no other time. Workout twice as long, with twice the volume and twice the frequency, well almost, but you get the point.

PCT is as important as being on cycle. What good is gaining 20lbs of muscle in 2 months if you give 15lbs back the next month?

I have done a total of 4 cycle in the last 2 year.
I have tried: TBOL, VAR,Proviron, Winny, Test E, Test Prop, Nandrolone, IGF1, Masteron and primo, ECA, Clen, T4(in different cycle off course ;)…)

What i have to share?

  1. if i’m using test e more than 500/week i have to use adex .25 EOD
  2. IGF1 is the best drugs ever for PCT and long term results (i mantain all my lbm after cycle, and now, 6 month later, i can see the slow growing mass in place… as busht wrote about GH i think IGF shifted my “base point” regarding muscle development)
  3. Nandrolone short estered + Test short estered are a killing machine for short cycle (remembere the 3 weeks experiment? i love it. I still love it)
    4)TBOL+VAR = lethargic
    5)Masteron + Primo + test e (400+400+400/week) are my best hardening cycle
    6)if you eat shit no drugs can save you
    7)T4 is useless
    8)Clen is very good but ECA is a lot better
    9)If you merge wisely Deca and Test deca dick is just a bad pair of words
  4. Winny is not so bad for joints but you need a lot of fish oil
  5. IGF (long) local IM do nothing for spot enhancement
    12)using a shit load of BCAA with AAS give you a big power up
    13)VAR heal my joint
    14)Creatine in PCT is not so good as i have read. BCAA is a lot better
  6. AAKG with AAS give you the greatest pump
  7. I never suffered from back pump
  8. orals are not cost/effective
  9. a good source is the biggest treasure. If you found one protect it.
  10. be wise be silent is a dangerous game

More is not always better.

Diet is as important as the type of gear

Your gains will only be as good as the program you have constructed to accompany the cycle.

Tren is a very potent injectable

Anadrol is a very potent oral

Hmm… where to start…

High doses of test for a short period of time kick ass.

It’s your time on, not dose or compounds, that determines suppression and recovery.

The stasis and taper method are better than any other form of PCT.

Clen’s sides can suck if you are not careful.

The benefits of tren far outweigh the initial side effects.

Quad injections are not for me.

IGF1 LR3 is unbelievable shit, even without spot injections.

Bicep injections are not for me.

The ventro-gluteal site is the best one there is.

Diet, not drugs or dose, determines progress and gains.

Overtraining happens, even on the most intense of cycles.

Hi intensity style training is extremely effective on cycle.

Cardio+tren= a bitch

Tren cough is a myth, so is the allegedly metallic taste you’re supposed to get in your mouth.

Winstrol does a great job of combatting anadrol’s nasty sides.

Oral only is not only possible, but effective if done right.

Junk food has no place in a cycle.

Protein, protein, protein… need I continue?

Staying properly hydrated and stretched is essential with masteron.

Milk+AAS is awesome if your stomach can handle it.

Know the laws and know them well.

Viagra should be discontinued and test used in its place.

Zencore+test = 24 hours of sex.

Make sure you have at least one sexual partner on cycle, or be prepared to masturbate a lot.

OTC supplements including creatine, BCAAs, and highly concentrated protein are a must on cycle.

Your ability to recover from a workout is determined by your diet, training style, and frequency, not whatever AAS you take.

Less is more with tren.

25g pins are perfect for anywhere.

Slin pins can be helpful on a taper, as well as magnificent for IGF usage.

Your body composition determines what sort of cycle you can without risk of bad sides.

Be as lean as possible pre-cycle.

Have your whole cycle together before you start it, ancillaries included.

Be prepared for the cost of your compounds as well as the increased amount of food and supplements you will have to procure.

That’s about all I can think of right now fellas.

I prefer to lean out ON cycle. Off cycle I lose too much mass. With Tren or Anavar I lean out AND gain mass. After the “Tren kickstart” part of the cycle, I’m bigger and leaner, and can either continue cutting or decide to bulk.

Tren: less is more in both dose and duration

Tren: better for kickstarts than any orals

Tren: hello gains goodbye balls!

Tren: nasty sides after 4 weeks

Test: even a mere 250mg combined with any other gear = rabid libido and wood.

Test is the best drug I have ever tried and I have tried a lot of different drugs.

I lied. There are a couple of things I have learned:

Even though you may hear hundreds of horror stories about a particular steroid’s terrible sides and be worried as hell about starting it, you may realize after you start taking it that it doesn’t affect YOU in this way at all.

The ventro-gluteal injection site is NOT that hard to find, and, as World said, it’s the best site there is.

Living in a country where AAS is legal is a true blessing.

I was trying to find a copy of the old Saturday Night Live bit with Adam Sandler, set in the gyro sandwich shop.

What have I learned?

I can’t compare to MGF or GH (not tried yet) but IGF is really the nicer stuff i have tried (other than Test ;)…)

They work! Tren is brutal but produces insane gains , suspension really f*****g hurts when you shoot it into your bi’s ,front loading with prop is the way to go , water retention really sucks
