Trump Cabinet Predictions / Suggestions

Then good for him.

Both those things…along with patience…are required for this position.

Copied from an article in Politico speaking to the difference between his governing and commentating,

Huckabee was among the few governors to devote all the proceeds from his state’s share of the $206 billion tobacco settlement in 1998 to health care. He also convinced voters to raise their own taxes to pay for road construction.

As governor, Huckabee supported in-state tuition rates and scholarships for students brought to the country illegally—a stance he continues to defend, even while taking a tough line against illegal immigration in general. When Arkansas was faced with some 75,000 evacuees from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Huckabee took advantage of end-of-summer closings of Christian camps throughout the state to use as shelters, dispersing the influx and mitigating their impact on schools and other services. “He got the job done with a smile and a hug for those who needed help,” the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette noted.

Huckabee’s major achievement was a health program known as ARKids First, which he pushed through in 1997, his first full year in office. It extended coverage to children whose parents earned too much to qualify for Medicaid, but still couldn’t afford private insurance. The number of children without health insurance had dropped from 22 percent when ARKids First was created to 6 percent in 2012.

Ha ha…there is still a part of me that feels Christi cost Romney the election. Honestly, I don’t really believe that but Christi’s intentions were certainly not good. He was looking out specifically and solely for Christi and no one else. For this reason I am fine with him staying in NJ and eating himself into a stupor. For that matter they can tag the entire Bridgegate on him and no sleep will be lost by me.

And if you noticed he never gained traction in those debates. Even when he obviously had a good debate. Republicans remembered his traitorous actions and rewarded him in kind.

Thanks for that post, Treco.

Based on how he Governed…he would in fact not be a bad choice at all.

I am now not only informed…but corrected.

Wow…

Romney is being SERIOUSLY considered for Secretary of State.

While I think he would be good…it’s just a surprise after the speech Romney gave about Trump’s unfitness a couple of months ago or so.

(Wow…)

Newt has taken himself out of the running for a Cabinet Post. He wants to concentrate on the Strategic Direction of the Republican Party.

So much for all of the never Trump naysayers claiming that he is vindictive.

He also had a three hour meeting with Ted Cruz…

Good spot for him he is a grand thinker and can really help the party move in the proper direction. I must say I love what I’m seeing so far.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this, it shows a lot of maturity(a lot to ask for nowadays…) and common direction on both their parts. I think he could add some much needed balance to Trumps foreign policy.

What I find most entertaining is how some were saying that “Trump is going to hurt the GOP brand”. What seems to be happening (and it’s still too early to tell) is that Trump is uniting the entire party. Those who backed him as well as those who opposed him. On the other side of the aisle there seems to be a race to see who can get to Socialism first. Oh wait, Bernie won that race…okay who can get there second.

This is turning out even better than I thought it might.

Which he will do if he keeps up the same demeanor he did on the campaign or if the economy doesn’t happen to agree with him.

He needs to after shattering it like he did, although he certainly shows a talent for turning foes to friends.

Don’t underestimate the power of free stuff, I can almost guarantee that in 2020 if the economy hasn’t turned around we’ll be looking full blown “Democratic” Socialist entering the White house.

Read the quotes during campaign, wow
You are in a place known as the Twilight Zone.

After four years of a failed administration the only way we can go is up. Will Trump put more people on food stamps than Obama? Will there be more people who have dropped out of the labor force than over the past 8 years…something like 1 million! Will there be higher black unemployment? It topped out under Obama. The best time to take over is after a failed Presidency. The press will never say it because he is a black liberal. But the facts are evident one only need open their eyes.

Point being if Trump blows this great opportunity it will be all on him.

One more thing Sig, as I have said many times it’s not just issues that move campaigns it is charisma! Take a good look at Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. They are Hillary Clinton without the scandals. It’s too early to talk about 2020, but if all the dems have are those two clowns settle back for 8 years of President Trump.

Agreed, although I doubt they’ll throw either of those

Just you wait…

Saw a yahoo article a couple of days ago floating Jim Webb as possible Secretary of Defence. I quite like Jim Webb.

Kanye West would be an interesting candidate. Neither party has ever lifted a special needs person to the nomination.

Although I think there are better people suited for the job I like Webb and think we would be fine.

Kanye said he would’ve voted for Trump, had he voted. Probably just going for shock value now a days. Found it funny though.

Had he voted…oh brother
